The Zamioculcas, also known as ZZ plant or Emerald palm, is a very easy-going plant. The plant is native to Tanzania, where it is used to periods of drought followed by extreme rainfall. The Emerald palm stores a lot of water, so it can go without water for a few weeks. Don’t stress if you forget to water it once in a while. Its low maintenance combined with its sturdy appearance makes the Emerald palm an incredibly popular plant. It has shiny, feathery leaves and long stems and fits perfectly in classic and modern interiors.

Care
The ZZ plant prefers a spot in semi-shade, without direct sunlight. The plant can survive in different light conditions, from bright sunlight to shady spots, although it thrives best in bright indirect light. The ZZ plant can also survive in dry environments and needs little water, once every 2-3 weeks is sufficient. Make sure no excess water remains in the pot/dish. This may cause root rot. The ideal temperature for this plant is 18-22 ºC.

Size
The plant has a height of 55-65cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
