Brassica is known for its curly, decorative leaves. As the temperature drops, the colour of its leaves intensifies. This decorative cabbage brightens up your pots and planters in late autumn. This is the ideal outdoor plant for the colder days of the year. The cabbage is native to the coastal regions of southern and western Europe. Brassica is a member of the Brassicaceae family, along with cabbages such as broccoli, cauliflower and kohlrabi. This creates a rustic look in the garden.
Care The Brassica does not require much maintenance. It likes a sunny spot in a cool climate with moist but well-drained soil. The plant needs plenty of water, especially during the growing period, but avoid over-watering. Tip: Plant cabbage in groups to create large colored carpets, spaced 40 cm apart in all directions. Ornamental cabbage can grow up to 30 cm high. Unfortunately, this cabbage is poisonous and therefore not edible.
Size The plants have a height of 10-20cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 10.5 cm.
