Tulipa Mondial is a beautiful, fresh tulip. This double tulip has white flowers that later develop a yellow centre. The elegant flowers stand on tall, strong stems, making them stand out nicely in the garden. Because of the neutral colour, they combine well with other coloured tulips or, for example, the Muscari armeniacum. Tulipa Mondial grows about 45 cm high. The bulbs can be planted in full soil as well as in a pot on the balcony. They also work well as cut flowers. Plant the bulbs between September and December and enjoy your beautiful tulips in May.
Care The best time to plant the bulbs is when trees start to lose their leaves. The soil will have cooled down sufficiently by then. The tulips can be planted at a depth of about 15-20 cm in loose soil. The bulbs should be planted 10 cm apart. Tulips like a spot in the sun or semi-shade. Planted in solid soil, tulips can withstand all weather conditions. If you plant them in a pot, it is best to place them in a cold shed during extreme frost.
Size Upon delivery, the bulbs have a circumference of about 11/12 cm.
