A cross between a Blackberry and a Raspberry, Rubus Tayberry produces large, deliciously sweet, aromatic fruits up to 5cm long. It is a slightly thorny plant that produces long shoots and is therefore suitable for being trained along a trellis. The large, deep, red fruits are twice as big as raspberries and have a sweet-sour taste. The tayberry can be eaten fresh, but can also be used to make delicious jam, juice or wine.

Care
The Tayberry grows well in the full sun, but also in the half shade. Rubus Tayberry prefers a moist, humus-rich soil. Prune the garden plant in autumn so that next spring you can enjoy many berries and blackberries. Rubus 'Tayberry' is a deciduous garden plant and around May, the plant produces beautiful white flowers which attract many bees and bumblebees.

Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
