The Gladiolus Glamini Patty is a true summer bloomer that can flower until autumn. The richly flowering red gladiolus grows about 50 cm high and should definitely not be missing in your summer garden. These gladioli are low-growing and have a slightly shorter stem than usual, so there is less risk of them blowing over and the plants are weather-resistant. However, the stem is still just long enough to use as a cut flower. You can also combine gladioli with other types of plants, such as dahlias. Use the gladioli as a cut flower so that you can also enjoy the beautiful flowers indoors. Pick the stems as soon as the bottom flower opens, preferably early in the morning. Immediately place the stems in a vase of lukewarm water with cut flower food. The tubers can be planted after the last night frost, from April to June.

Care
Gladioli tubers can be planted about 7-10 cm deep in spring after the last night frost. First loosen the soil well and sprinkle a layer of sharp sand at the bottom of the planting hole. This allows rainwater to drain well under the tubers. Place the tubers about 10-12 cm apart. While planting, add some good potting soil. Mix heavy (clay) soil with sharp sand before planting. This large-flowered gladiolus likes to grow in a warm sunny spot. Preferably plant gladioli in a different spot every year.
