The Philodendron 'Black Cardinal' is an astonishing strong houseplant with a special colour: the leaves are very dark coloured. However, the new leaves first turn orange and later they turn darker and darker. This Philodendron grew up in the rainforests of South America, and therefore prefers a humid climate. Since it is certainly not the biggest there, the 'Black Cardinal' prefers the shadow. Due to its origins, the plant also likes a place in the bathroom.

Care
The Philodendron Black Cardinal likes high humidity, which is why the plant prefers to be watered during dry days. This also removes dust so the leaves can breathe better. The Philodendron does not like to be next to a heater or in a draft. Furthermore, the Black Cardinal is the perfect plant for rooms that get less light. It likes to be in a place in semi-shade without direct sunlight. And give the Philodendron small sips of water regularly: it prefers constantly moist soil.

Size
The plants have a height of 20-30cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
