Sarcococca, also known as Sweet Box or Christmas Box, remains a well-kept secret in Europe. However, this plant is full of surprises! The Sarcococca has unusual, elongated leaves in a beautiful, dark green colour which you can enjoy all year round. Besides the lovely leaves, the plant blooms beautiful white flowers in winter that give your winter garden a chic look. These flowers also smell delicious! Care Contrary to its name, Sarcococca is an easy plant! It is especially important to give it a sheltered spot in sun or semi-shade. The plant can be pruned if desired, but it is not necessary. This is best done after flowering, in March/April.
