The Buddleja is a gorgeous flowering shrub which attracts many butterflies and insects, mostly because of its fragrant bunches of flowers the plant grows from July till October. This also gave the plant its nickname, which is Butterfly bush. The Buddleja davidii ‘Royal Red’ has the most red-coloured flowers from all butterfly bushes. However, its flowers are not only fully red, but also a little purple coloured.

Care
Plant the Buddleja Royal Red as sunny as possible, then the most nectar is formed, which will attract the butterflies like a magnet. In spring the Buddleja can be pruned to 30 cm above the ground. In the same year the shrub will grow to 200 cm and will flower vigorously. The Buddleja is not poisonous.

Size
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
