The Papaver Orientale, also known as Oriental poppy, is a grateful summer bloomer that gives your garden a cosy atmosphere with its large flowers in striking colours. The Papaver Orientale mix is a combination of the most beautiful colours of Oriental poppies which are well matched. The Oriental poppy does very well in a border and combines well with other plants. The plants flower between June and July and the flowers are very attractive to bees. The tubers can be planted between March and May.

Care
The poppy flowers best in sandy or light clay soil. The plant prefers a sunny spot out of the wind because of its thin petals. After flowering, the flowers form seed pods, which are best removed so that the poppy can flower again.
