Care
For all fruit, the more sun the better they will grow, and this is also the case for the pear. Therefore, make sure the pear tree is in a sunny spot. The tree can be pruned after flowering or in winter. At these times there is the least chance of damage. In mid-winter, you can shorten newly formed branches to within 20 centimeters. You do this with the main stem as well. After this winter pruning, wild shoots will form, which you can prune away again in the summer.
