Care When taking care of the Chamaedorea, it is important that the soil does not get dry, but avoid leaving the roots in water. So give the plant small amounts of water. During the summer, watering once every four days is sufficient and in winter only once every two weeks. The Chamaedorea prefers a lot of light, but preferably not direct sunlight. It is best to place the dwarf palm near a window facing north. If the leaves turn lighter or yellow, the plant is receiving too much light.
