Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Lady in Red’ is a medium-sized deciduous bladder spire. It is a multi-stemmed shrub with an ascending and spreading shape. The leaves turn purple in spring and summer, and in autumn they turn purplish red with a hint of bronze. This bladder spire flowers from May to July with white, to pink-white fragrant flowers that attract bees and butterflies.

Care
Physocarpus 'Lady in Red' likes a position in full sun or semi shade, well-drained, humus-rich soil with a preference for slightly acidic soil. The plant is well hardy.

Size
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
