The Dracaena, also known as the dragon tree, is one of the strongest and easiest houseplants to look after. The word Dracaena comes from the Greek wood 'drakaina', which means 'female dragon'. The plant got its name because some Dracaena species have red sap like the Dracaena Draco. This sap was once seen as a dragon's leaf. The Dracaena is the perfect houseplant for people without green fingers. It can survive for weeks without water or care. It is a tropical plant that originates from the rain forests of Asia, Africa and Central America.
Care Dracaena Marginata will grow somewhat wider and taller as it forms new lateral branches with age. The plant does best in a bright location (half sun), but a shady location is also very suitable for this plant. However, for the color of the leaves, a bright, non-sunny location is best. This Dracaena has a beautiful, fresh green leaf with a thin red border around the leaf.
Size The plant has a height of 70-80cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
