Lilium Orientalis Stargazer is a beautiful pink lily. Lilies can be found in more and more gardens, and not surprisingly so. The iconic pink and white lilies are a graceful addition to your (after) summer garden, as they bloom from August to September. The lilies are not only beautiful, they also spread a lovely scent. The plants grow about 90cm tall and flower larger than Asian lilies. Lilium Stargazer can be planted in the ground as well as in pots, and can be combined well with other types of plants. The bulbs can be planted in spring (March-May), after the last night frost. The lily is also perfect as a cut flower, so you can enjoy its beautiful flowers indoors too. Pick the stems as soon as the bottom flower opens, preferably early in the morning. Place the stems immediately in a vase of lukewarm water with cut flower food.

Care
The planting depth of a lily is between 10 and 15 cm. Before planting the bulbs, make sure the soil is airy and permeable to moisture. Plant lilies sheltered from the wind along a fence or between other plants and shrubs. The flowers like to be in the sun. Bulbs of lilies can be planted both in spring, around April-May, and in autumn, October-November. In case of frost, it is best to protect the bulbs and any shoots that have already emerged with some leaves or branches. It is recommended to transplant lilies every 3-4 years. They will then draw new energy from the new soil and the lilies will bloom beautifully and colourfully for years to come.
