Helleborus orientalis, also known as the ' Oriental Christmas rose', is one of the most popular Helleborus species. These plants are originally found in Greece, Turkey and central Asia in mountainous areas. Nowadays, the Hellebore orientalis can be found in gardens all over the world. This is not surprising, because of its flowering time (January - April), the Hellebore brightens up drab winter gardens with colourful flowers, ahead of many other plants. The Hellebore also has a lengthy flowering time, allowing you to enjoy its beautiful flowers from winter to spring. In this mix, you will receive different coloured flowers in white, purple, pink and yellow shades.

Care
Helleborus Orientalis is not the easiest garden plant to care for, as the plant has many requirements for the location. The soil should be well-drained, fertile and calcareous. The plants prefer a sheltered, semi-shaded spot and can remain there for years. This plant also looks good in a facade garden, as the soil there is very calcareous. If the leaves become unsightly, they can be cut off at the bottom. The plant will then form new leaves. Unfortunately, we are not the only ones who love the Christmas rose, snails also like to take a bite of it. Protect the plant well against the critters. Please note that the plant is poisonous.

Size
The plants have a height of 20-30cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
