The Clematis has been one of the most popular garden plants for hundreds of years. Even the ancient Greeks and Romans were said to be fans. Because the Clematis has been popular since ancient times, there are now many hybrids available. The Clematis is also called the queen of climbers. It is easy to look after, has a long flowering period and exists in all sorts, colours and sizes. The Clematis Taiga is very beautiful due to its large, purple flowers that can reach a length of 12 centimeters.
Care The Clematis Taiga is a real climber and prefers to grow against a fence or wall. Furthermore, the Clematis prefers a place in the sun, where it can grow 1.5 to 2 meters high. Prune the Clematis in March to 15 centimeters above the ground, this stimulates growth in the spring. An added benefit is that the plant is hardy to 15 degrees below zero. The plant can be placed either in the open ground or in a pot. Just make sure the plant gets enough water, especially in the hot summer months.
Size The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
