There are many words that can be used when describing the Alocasia plants — stunning, architectural, jewel-like—and all of them are appropriate. Sometimes called elephant ears, the Alocasia plants are very tropical and exotic indoor plants. The Alocasia ‘Red Secret’ is one of the most exotic Alocasia's with huge shiny, red leaves. The Alocasia Red Secret is a houseplant that is special because of the particularly metallic glossy leaves. Its beautiful large shield-shaped leaves have a red-purple glow.

Care
Despite its unique appearance, the Alocasia is quite easy to care for. This slow-growing Alocasia prefers moist soil and a spot with plenty of shade. The plant likes to be kept out of direct sunlight with high humidity, occasionally spray some water around the plants. The most profitable amount of (indirect) sunlight is about 3 to 4 hours per day.

Size
The plant has a height of 25-35cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
