Hydrangea serrata 'Magic Pillow' is the perfect plant for smaller spaces. The plant grows about 50cm tall which makes it perfect for a small garden or for planting in a pot. The Magic Pillow blooms profusely between July and September with cushion-like flower beds covered in blue or pink flowers, depending on the pH level of the soil. The Magic Pillow is a low-maintenance plant that is perfect for adding texture and colour to some more shady areas of the garden/balcony. In autumn its green leaves turn to a purple-red colour, making it very attractive even in autumn.

Care
Hydrangeas do not like drought and need a lot of water, especially in summer. It is best to give the hydrangea a lot of water at once rather than a little every now and then. It can be planted from March to mid-October, either in the open ground or in an ornamental pot, although it grows best in the open ground. When planting, keep a distance of 75 cm between plants. Pruning the plant is best done in March, about 30 cm above the ground. The harder you prune back the hydrangea, the larger the flowers will grow.

The plant has a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
