Astilbe is a strong summer-flowering perennial, which makes it perfect for the beginner gardener. In this Astible mix, you will receive several different coloured astilbe plants that are perfect for a border. They also look great in a pot. Take a generous pot with holes in the bottom and plant the tubers about 20 cm apart for the best effect. The flower spikes can also be used as cut flowers and look great in mixed summer bouquets. The plants grow about 50-60 cm tall and are hardy. The tubers can be planted from March to May and you can enjoy the beautiful blooms from June to August.

Care
Plant the Astilbe in full soil in a spot in semi-shade. Make a spacious planting hole and loosen the soil well. Improve poor garden soil by mixing in compost and some garden turf. Put the roots of the plant in the hole at the right depth (approx. 5 cm). Fill the planting hole with soil and press firmly. The best location is a spot in semi-shade or shade. During growth it is important to water the plants regularly, reduce watering in autumn. When the tubers are planted in a pot, it is important that the potting soil does not dry out.
