The Jatropha Multifida is nicknamed 'Coral Plant' because of its beautiful, sturdy, red flower clusters, which protrude above the leaves on a flower stalk. Furthermore, the Jatropha has unusually shaped leaves with a deep dark green colour on top and a greyish colour underneath. The Coral Plant blooms during the hot summer months and since the plant is native to Asia and Africa, it has a long flowering period. You can expect the flowers from May to October. But even without flowers, the Jatropha is a beautiful plant to have in your home!

Care
The Jatropha Multifida is especially suitable as a houseplant, but can also be placed outside during the summer. Take special care to place the Coral Plant in a light and sunny spot. Furthermore, the plant prefers a slightly moist potting soil, without its roots standing in water. What is good to know is that the Jatropha lets its leaves droop as soon as it gets too little water! Eventually, the Jatropha can grow up to 3 meters tall. Be careful though, because the Jatropha Multifida is poisonous.

Size
The plant has a height of 40-50cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
