The beautiful Mahonia Soft Caress is the first Mahonia variety without thornes! Its leaves are soft and feathery. The plant remains green all year round. From August, yellow, sweet-scented flower spikes appear above the foliage, standing straight up. After flowering, the flowers form blue berries towards winter. This plant will shine on the terrace or balcony, but is also very suited as a part of a larger display in a border or garden. The Mahonia Soft Caress is hardy up to -12°C and is therefore not completely winter hardy. Some protection is therefore needed during cold winters.

Care
The Mahonia Soft Caress likes to stand in a sheltered spot in the sun or semi shade in a sandy, humus-rich soil. The plant is hardy to 12 degrees frost, protect the plant from frost if necessary. The plant can be fertilized each year for richer blooms.

Size
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
