Ranunculus, also known as buttercup, is a rewarding summer bloomer that can be enjoyed for months. In this mix, you will receive 80 ranunculus flower bulbs in different colours. The plants bloom all summer from July until the first night frost. Ranunculus grows about 30-40 cm tall, which makes them very suitable for the border. The beautiful flowers are also very suitable as cut flowers and last long in a vase. Ranunculus is therefore very popular with florists and is often used at weddings. The bulbs can be planted from September to December. After flowering, store the bulbs in a frost-free place and you can enjoy them for many years.
Care Ranunculus can be planted in spring and autumn. Ranunculus are so-called dormant bulbs. They should therefore soak in a bowl of water for a few hours before planting. Dig a spacious planting hole, loosen the soil and fill the planting hole with good potting soil. Carefully place the tubers in the planting hole and cover with 3-5 cm of soil. The planting distance of the tubers is 5-10 cm. After planting, water the tubers immediately. Ranunculus flowers most abundantly in full sun and combines well with perennials and other bulbous plants. The mixed flowers are real eye-catchers in the border.
Size The flower bulbs have a circumference of approximately 5/6 cm upon delivery.
