The Fargesia 'Blue Dragon' is a very exclusive and beautiful bamboo species with its special blue-grey stems. The 'Blue Dragon' has all the good qualities of a Fargesia: it is evergreen, hardy to -20 degrees Celsius and does not proliferate! The Fargesia 'Blue Dragon' grows upwards and has beautiful green leaves. The stems of the 'Blue Dragon' can grow up to 3 to 4 cm thick, the plant itself can grow up to 3 to 4 metres high. It is a beautiful plant to grow in a garden or to create an evergreen hedge. The Fargesia 'Blue Dragon' is also a splendid plant when kept solitary in the ground or in a beautiful ornamental pot. Care
The Fargesia Blue Dragon is evergreen, hardy and not proliferating. The plant wants a place in shade or half shade and needs moderate to much water. In summer and on hot days, this plant needs quite a bit of water. A planting distance of 40-60 cm is recommended if the plant is placed in the open ground. From an age of 2-3 years, the stems of the Blue Dragon begin to turn blue-gray. At the time of delivery, the plants are almost 2 years old.

Size
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 13cm.
