The Strobilanthes anisophyllus 'Brunetthy' is a beautiful ornamental shrub from Asia. It is a bushy shrub with oblong, deep purple leaves. From April to June, it blooms fine, bell-shaped, lilac flowers, which are a beautiful contrast to the dark leaves. Strobilanthes anisophyllus 'Brunetthy' is reasonably hardy and leafy, but requires a sheltered spot with as much sun as possible. Alternatively, 'Brunetthy' can be used in pots and kept inside during the winter.

Care
The Strobilanthus does not really need pruning. To keep the plant in shape, the long shoots can be shortened in spring and/or summer. It prefers sun/semi-sun. Furthermore, the plant is moderately hardy to -4°C.

Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
