The Polyscias, also known as the Aralia, is native to Asia, but can also be found on tropical islands like Madagascar. Polyscias is Greek for 'lots of shade'. This is not because it prefers to be in a shady spot, but because it can grow very large in the wild and offers loads of shade. The Polyscias Fruticosa is a very characteristic little tree that gives any room a completely new look. The rough stem gives the plant a beautiful, natural look. This artistic appearance looks good in the office, living room or bedroom.
Care It may be named after the shade, but the Polyscias prefers a bright spot with several hours of indirect sunlight. If the plant does not get enough light, it can cause it to stop growing. In summer, it prefers to stand in moist soil without drying out. To ensure that the soil does not dry out, it is best to water the plant regularly. To find out what your plant's water needs are, you can test the soil regularly by sticking your fingers in it and seeing how fast the soil dries out. The Polyscias likes to be watered regularly.
Size The plant has a height of 70-80cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 21cm.
