The Polyscias Fabian, also known as the Aralia, is originally from Asia. They can also be found on tropical islands like Madagascar. Polyscias is Greek for ‘much shade’, but don’t let this confuse you! This mainly refers to the plants offering shade in the wild because of their enormous size. They actually like a sunny spot. The Polyscias Fabian is a characteristic tree that radiates calmness, which puts you into a relaxed state of mind instantly. The plant has a beautiful stem and it grows beautiful dark green to purple, leatherlike leaves on the whole branches.
Care The Polyscias may be named for shade, but it still prefers a sunny spot with several hours of direct sunlight. If the plant does not get enough light, it can cause it to stop growing. In summer, it prefers to stand in moist soil without drying out. To ensure that the soil does not dry out, it is best to water the plant regularly. To find out what your plant's water needs are, you can test the soil regularly by sticking your fingers in it and seeing how fast the soil dries out. The Polyscias likes to be watered regularly.
Size The plant has a height of 80-85cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 21cm.
