The Caladium is a striking plant that originates from the tropical forests of Central and South America. They come in different colours and patterns, one even more impressive than the other. The Caladium Sweetheart has heart-shaped leaves with a beautiful pink colour. The dark pink veins and the dark green edge give the leaves a striking pattern. The plants go into hibernation in autumn. They lose their leaves to be reborn again in spring. It can be difficult to get hold of these exotic plants, so make sure to get yours while you can!

Care
The Caladium prefers a temperature above 15 degrees. It could go outside in the summer, but it is important that it does not stand in direct sun as this can burn the plant. The plant needs watering once every 2 weeks in the summer. Make sure to keep the soil moist. Are the leaves drooping? Then the plant needs a little more water. In the spring and summer months, the plant needs feeding every month, this ensures that they continue to grow well. Please note that the Caladium is poisonous.

Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 12cm.
