Acer palmatum 'Taylor' is a rare 'limited edition' Japanese maple! This beautiful little Acer tree is great for pots and containers on a terrace or balcony. When the leaves first appear in spring, they have a striking salmon-pink colour. As the leaves age, they will gradually turn green with a creamy white margin. In autumn, the leaves turn a striking lime-green colour, as the last hint of colour before losing their leaves. The Acer 'Taylor', gives you something to look forward to all year round! When given enough space, the Acer Taylor can grow up to 2 metres tall.

Care
Japanese Maples can best be planted from March to early October. During this period, the soil is warm and the plants can root well. In a planter, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese Maples are strong plants but in a windy location the leaves can be damaged. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered place. The plant prefers a spot in semi-shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots which can lead to leaf loss and can burn the leaves. A Japanese Maple is not evergreen, meaning it loses its leaves in winter. However, the plant is very hardy and will sprout again with beautiful new leaves starting in March.

Size
The plants have a height of 35-55cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 15cm.
